The 3rd season of Lie To Me starts off well enough with the first 4 episodes being fairly strong. One notable absence is Special Agent Ben Reynolds (Mekhi Phifer). At the start of this season it appears they are going to try to replace the character, but the idea never really gains any traction. After those 4 episodes, it's a bit of hit-or-miss.

Overall the season is good, but is probably more for fans of the show than newcomers. There is a silver lining, though. This season is one of the greatest in showcasing the relationship between Cal Lightman (Tim Roth) and his daughter, Emily (Hayley McFarland). Their scenes together are spectacular and are a big reason why I enjoyed this, the final, season.
