Frank is informed by Baker that the Mayor doesn’t need him to attend at tonight’s reception, which troubles him, but when City Council Speaker Regina Thomas talks to a radio station about police’s brutality and that Commissioner Reagan has to step back, and the police department has to be repurposed, makes his day even worse. When they meet later at his office, they still cannot find a mutual ground to talk to. Meanwhile, Danny and Baez are investigating a female suffocate victim, and when a lead takes them to a residence, they are lured and locked in the basement of a serial killer. A few hours later, Erin alerts Jamie about their absence, and everyone starts to search for them.
